Kerala mural paintings are the frescos depicting Hindu mythology and legends, which are drawn on the walls of temples and churches in South India, principally in Kerala.
It's a 2 days online workshop.
Day 1: Nov 7, 2020- Saturday 4pm - 4.40pm
We will learn how to draw.
Day 2: Nov 8, 2020- Sunday 4pm - 4.40pm
We will learn How to paint.

T E X T U R E S a painting workshop
Impasto is a technique used in painting, where paint is laid on an area of the surface in very thick layers, usually thick enough that the brush or painting-knife strokes are visible. Paint can also be mixed right on the canvas. When dry, impasto provides texture; it is thickly textured paint that is almost three-dimensional in appearance.
With no prior painting experience required, this will be a guided session, shedding light on the strokes, sketches and techniques and helping you paint "The Dusk", getting in touch with the artist within. We will be painting using, Spetchula's & Acrylic paint on a canvas of size 14" x 18". All art material will be provided.

A fun-filled activity for Kids & adults, A great way to relax and explore the hidden artist within yourself!
Working with rich Acrylic colors on a canvas, we will show you how to create a simple, brush-free impressionist painting just using your fingers and other tools. Leave your brushes behind!
You will be guided by simple painting techniques which will help you create bold textures and make the painting come alive. All art materials will be provided.
The participant will have a variety of pictures to choose from in this form of painting and can also experiment to bring in their own style. We will help you master this art with step-by-step instructions. No prior painting experience is required, and there is no age limit as art is open for all.
Students will carry their painting made by them.

'MADHUBANI' a folk art workshop
Learn Madhubani paintings in the traditional art form.
Madhubani art (or Mithila painting) is a style of Indian Painting practiced in the Mithila region of the Indian Subcontinent.
Madhubani paintings are drawn in accordance with a fixed theme and accordingly, symbols, lines, patterns are drawn.
Get introduced to the Madhubani art form and learn various styles of this folk art. The traditional authentic style of Madhubani painting will be taught in the class on an A3 size handmade paper.
All materials will be provided in the class. (Materials include: Nib pen/Marker, Colours, Brushes, handmade paper)
This workshop is best suited for anyone interested in learning the nuances of Indian folk art. The participant will have a variety of pictures to choose from in this form of painting and can also experiment to bring in their own style. Sample pictures of the traditional work can be seen in the description. This is an exhaustive workshop.

Lets learn to doodle intricate mandalas in a fun & informal space. For people who have never painted, or are scared of drawing this is a great opportunity.
This workshop is an invitation to explore Mandala as a way of connecting to your creative spirit. In this workshop you will be introduced with an unique idea of blending these art forms DOODLE, MANDALA & DOT Painting together in a meditative and therapeutic way.
What's Doodle: A doodle is a drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be composed of random and abstract lines, generally without ever lifting the drawing device from the paper
Whats Mandala:
A mandala drawing is a circular symmetrical design with repetitions of patterns which creates an illusion of motion. It has a central focal point around which the design revolves thus symbolizing the cosmos. The mandalas have been practiced as a meditative art form since ancient times.
Workshop:
In this workshop we paint a canvas in beautiful Doodle with Mandala patterns painted in Dots. Even if you have no prior experience in drawing or painting you don't have to worry at all. This is a very simple step by step demonstration and any amateur can try their hands at this successfully.

A Resin Art Workshop
Resin is a two-part compound that hardens to give a clear and glossy finish. You can either add paints to the resin and then create a painting. Alternatively, you can paint first and then pour the resin over the painting to create the finish.
In this workshop, you will learn how to work with the epoxy resin and how to mix colours and techniques for applying and creating designs. All the material will be provided in the workshop.

MELANGE-2019 is an online contest. This online competition is open 24 x 7. There are 3 Categories and 1 topic for each category.

● Seniors 11 yrs – 17 yrs
Topic: Pros & Cons of Social Media
● Adults 18 yrs and above
Topic: Politics
Size of the artwork
The artwork to be submitted can be in two sizes - A4 or A3
Medium:
You can use any medium of your choice. There is no restriction on the use of medium. It could be regular pencils, coloured pencils, graphite pencils, charcoal, crayons, sketch pens, oil pastels, watercolours, acrylic colours, oil colours. The drawing, sketch or painting can be done on drawing Sheet. You can also use a canvas. If you use a canvas.
The submission is online. This means that you will submit a scanned image or a good quality picture of your artwork along with all the relevant details such as title of the artwork, medium used, size and a brief description about the artwork.

Eco Friendly Ganesha Idol Making Workshop - 2018
A festival synonymous with loads of Enthusiasm, Energy, Music, Dance, Modaks & Fun.
This year Art Palette is organizing a special workshop to learn the art of making an Eco-Friendly Ganpati idol by soil and making the idol with your own hands and a few simple tools. Over the last four years, more than 500 students of age 5 to 65 have successfully made idols in our workshops. Interestingly, most of them had never made anything with clay earlier in life.
Here is the golden opportunity for you to join this workshop and make an idol and feel blessed.
At the end of the workshop you will get your own hand crafted idol, which would get converted to plants later after workshop.
This Festival do a little to save the environment by bringing home an idol made of soil, fertilizers, and contain plant seeds.
Description
This workshop is divided into 2 sessions. We will start by making the basic structure, torso and the four hands, then making the face, the trunk and lastly, adding ornaments and other details to the idol.
